Along with my vinyl records, audio cassettes, CDs, rock magazines, comic books, baseball cards, etc., I am also starting to list my collection of vintage VHS tapes. I have over 300 VHS tapes that I used to record hours of TV in the 80s and 90s; MTV videos, heavy metal music videos, 120 Minutes, X-Files, Cartoons, etc.. I've used various VHS brands including Fuji, Fuji Film, TDK, Maxell, RCA, Scotch, Polaroid, JVC, Sony, Gemini, Memorex, Kodak and possibly more. For each listing, I will attempt to include photos of the VHS itself, it's case, stickers and/or labels, and when possible screen captures of previous recordings to try to give you an idea of the condition and quality of the tape. I briefly tested the tapes by fast forwarding to the end, rewinding to the beginning, and I've spot checked for playability as well. You should have no issues recording over these. If you'd prefer, I can blank out tapes for you prior to shipping - please simply message me requesting this. If you plan to peek at the content prior to re-recording, please understand that the quality may not meet expectations, as most of my tapes are between 30 and 40 years old. VHS tapes are being sold as blank due to caveats mentioned below: VHS is not high quality Content may or may not include commercials Content may or may not be complete Content may have beginnings or ends cut off VHS tape may not be same brand as case and/or stickers VHS tape may not come with a case VHS tape may not included stickers. If included, they may not be complete VHS record tab may be missing, and need to be covered when re-recording Loose handwritten content cards or labels may not be included in this sale Labels may or may not be completely accurate I simply can't verify previously recorded content of all tapes VHS sold "AS-IS" Please reach out if you have any questions.
