Note an 8.0 graded copy sold for $40,000 (with buyer's premium) Feb. 17, 2023 on Heritage. New Sealed 1st Print Superman (1978) released in 1979 from WCI Home Video (Warner.) Flatback seal with factory vent bottom center on front just like the graded Betamax that sold on HA. This is the “Big Box” also known as a “Book Box” it is the Betamax (not VHS) however the box size is identical to the VHS release. Betamax titles were released before VHS from WCI during this time period only the rich owned Betamax players, Betamax was more common than VHS. Nice condition but please note back bottom left & right show wear. See last 3 pics closeups.
